In May 2010, Leo Oakley, Jan Shelley, Gabriel Gifford and Fred Garratt-Stanley went on a music course at CME together.We wrote and recorded a song called "Free", and back at school wrote a second song-"Flood of Tears". At the school's annual music show, "Livewire",we performed the two songs, and it went brilliantly. In September 2010, after performing at Norwich's shopping mall Chapelfield, including a performance of our new song "Pluck a Star", we were asked to record our songs at school, and music technician Ben Parker helped us record two songs. In mid November we wrote our fourth song, Bottled up, and after christmas the fifth one, Look Again, was written. In early June The Solution wrote "The Traveller", and not long after, "Attacked by Feedback". Around the start of Year 9, we wrote "Summer with you" for a performance at Norwich Forum. After singer Leo Oakley left the band in November 2011, The Solution decided to make a fresh start. We are currently writing and producing songs starring guest vocalists, to eventually create our first full album. |
